The fun continues...

Now that everyone has met each other, the real fun can begin. We get to learn some more about all the different personalities in the house.

The morning started with a serenade from HoJay.  BITD and Doctor Cube were still sleeping, having stayed up very late the night before. They were so tired that they weren't disturbed at all by the loud guitar playing just a few feet away from them.

Mark started the morning working on a painting that Doctor Cube told him looks like a giant cupcake. Boris was the first to break in the fooseball table.

A few people hit the ground running, looking for jobs to make some extra cash. Jbond took a job in the science career as a test subject, BITD decided to be a mascot in the sports career track.  As night fell, BITD, Doctor Cube and I jumped in the pool. Doctor Cube didn't care about changing into a swim suit and jumped in in his regular clothes.  Doctor Cube laughed at BITD when BITD decided to see how long he could hold his breath.

Boris quickly called Doctor Cube out on his shenanigans, outright calling him evil.

Mark was having a great time surfing the web, Doctor Cube decided to troll the forums. Boris was contemplating taking a shower. Jbond, however, decided to hide out in the bathroom. Both computers were taken and he didn't like hanging out with other people. 

What's this? His stress level up super high, and with great peer pressure to drink in the house, Jbond sneaks a drink at the bar when no one is looking.

His body is unaccustomed to the burning alcohol and he immediately feels the effects...

Uh oh...

Jbond sits down, dumbfounded by the events that have unfolded, and in a pretty bad mood. He really just wants to go to bed.

The First Day

Everyone has arrived to the Real World House and to commemorate the moment the cast has decided to take a group photo.

At first, everyone was nervous about entering the house, unsure of what they would find, perhaps.  After standing around for over an hour, Jbond could no longer stand to be around so many people or to be in the great outdoors; he was the first to enter the house.  He quickly found where the computers were:

Nussy was next to enter the house, the first thing he found was the bar. It was where he was found again and again throughout the first day and night. 

Perhaps because of the bar, Nussy had to come over to tell me how much he was enjoying the house. Boris was concerned about the safety of the firepit and Doctor Cube was contemplating the art found in the house.

BITD and HoJay decided to break the ice by playing some catch.  HoJay throws like a girl.

But then Nussy returned to the bar to make drinks for the whole gang and everyone started to loosen up to have more fun.  Jbond was still upstairs chatting on the computer. HoJay turned on the stereo and was showing off his dancing skills. BITD and I were playing a video game. Boris and Mark began what looks like will be a great friendship. Doctor Cube took it all in while reading up on Masterminds and Strategy, all part of his grand plan to be the Emperor of Evil.

After a few more drinks, even BITD and Nussy got in on the dancing action choosing to dance with each other. HoJay was content to stay on the solo dance circuit. Mark and Boris turned on a romantic comedy and decided to MST3k it. Doctor Cube was content to keep reading, although I have a feeling it was all a ruse and he was secretly paying attention to everyone, plotting on how to insult each and every one of them.

After all that drinking I had to use the facilities.  I heard some new music so I came downstairs to see what was going on. HoJay had found the guitar and was putting on a show for everyone. It must have been impressive because it brought Jbond away from the computer and downstairs, although he stayed behind in the shadows to listen.  It also got Doctor Cube to put down his book and he very slightly, almost unnoticeably began to dance...just a little.  HoJay liked the guitar so much, that he eventually hid it so no one else could play.

 

As everyone would soon find out, Doctor Cube starts to get increasingly insulting as his intake of booze also increased.  During the course of the night, Nussy's drinking led him to reveal that he still has his V-card.  Doctor Cube found this to be a great tidbit of information to use to insult Nussy.

The night ended with everyone crashing in bed...except for BITD.  He had more to drink than everyone before finding the sprinkler outside and deciding to use it as a bidet.

Most of the time on The Real World the house is like another member of the cast. Here is the Real World: Studio64 house. The first floor has a wing dedicated eating and a wing dedicated to entertainment:

Meet the Cast

Here is the cast, from left to right:

Doctor Cube, Mark, Nussy, Boris Stoke, Hillarie, Jbond64, HoJay, and Beer in the Dark.

A bit closer up...

Here is Doctor Cube. He is the typical asshole that gets cast on The Real World.  He has the following traits: Evil, Insane, Inappropriate, Party Animal, and Mean Spirited.  His lifetime wish is to be The Emperor of Evil.

Next is Mark.  He has the following traits: Workaholic (only because in real life he usually has more than 1 job at a time), Frugal (because he's just recently found a job again), Friendly, Heavy Sleeper (because of tales from dorksfest past), and Artistic (because of his writing and radio shows). His lifetime wish is to be an Illustrious Author.

Next is Nussy. His traits are: Excitable, Good Sense of Humor, Friendly, Charismatic, and Party Animal. His lifetime wish is to be Super Popular.

Next up we have Boris Stoke. His traits are: Good, Family Oriented, Never Nude, Ambitious, and Perfectionist. His lifetime ambition is to be Leader of the Free World.  This one turned out very well.

Next is Hillarie (me). It was hard to pick traits because it was for my own self! I chose: Ambitious, Bookworm, Dislikes Children (TRUTH), Commitment Issues (because I think relationships SUCK), and Good Kisser (I needed one more and someone recently told me I was one).

And next we have Jbond64. His traits are: Never Nude, Loner, Computer Whiz, Hates the Outdoors, and Unflirty. HIs lifetime ambition is to be a Creature-Robot Cross Breeder. Again, this one turned out very well.

Here we have HoJay, who when he grows out a beard looks a lot like Abe Lincoln, so I gave him the beard and the top hat to complete the look. His traits are: Viruoso (since he went to a music college and all), Artistic, Friendly, Party Animal, and Hopeless Romantic (since he's always trying to tackle drunk bitches). His lifetime wish is to be a Rockstar.

Last we have Beer in the Dark. His traits are: Flirty, Absent Minded, Loves the Outdoors, Party Animal, and Slob (only because I imagine his house covered in wizard staffs).

An idea is born.

So...I bought Sims 3 last night. Today I was playing and chatting in my favorite place to chat: Studio64. We had a fabulous idea to make a house of nintendorks. I decided to do it Real World style and picked 7 people from the Studio plus myself to move into the house. 

I have decided I love the whole "trait" system. I had a ton of fun trying to match traits to people and see what the outcome would be, especially the "lifetime wish." Sometimes it was scarily accurate! 

The cast has been formed: Hillarie (me), Boris Stoke, Jbond64, Nussy, Mark, HoJay, Beer In The Dark, and Doctor Cube. 

The house has been built.

Now all that's left is for everyone to move in and to see what happens when people stop being polite and start getting real.
